John Ramos has been painting and publishing his fine art prints since the 1980s, beginning with the famous image for Hussong's Cantina in Ensenada, Baja California. John started off painting in watercolors, and over his career moved into oils on canvas. His work is collected worldwide with over 6,000 works sold. 

His Original paintings are created at times out on location, and also in his Studio. John has established fine art galleries in Laguna Beach, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, CA and Loreto B.C.S.
